Deadline August 1st 6pm

This will be the 5th Emerge Festival, having originally started in 2012.  It has supported 52 choreographers, with many works that have premiered at the festival, have gone on to be funded, fully realised or booked to perform at other events, as a direct result of being involved in the festival.

Previous choreographers/practitioners have included: John Ross, Kendra J Horsburgh, Neus Gil Cortes, Lewis Major, Kenrick H2O Sandy, Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster, James Williams, Kloe Dean, Lee Griffiths, Luke Brown to name a few.

The festival provides artistic, marketing and technical support. Each choreographer will get to meet, interact and connect with similar artists, as well as the opportunity to chat about sustaining and developing their own work to tour.  This is an open application, looking to engage choreographers/physical theatre makers, who are looking to create a work for the Festival in November. The work cannot be longer than 15, or have more than 4 performers.  ’Emerge’ refers to the emergence of new work/a new direction, regardless of age, experience or gender.

If you are interested or have any more questions, please get in touch.

Best wishes,
